Ashtabula Local Food Festival 2026
The Ashtabula Local Food Festival in the Historic Ashtabula Harbor is a celebration of the people who feed this county: nine farmers markets, more than 100 farms, and everything made from what they grow, including wine and cider!
Our festival is also a celebration of the Ashtabula Local Food Guide, the annual booklet that maps local food production across the county. Inside you will find meat processors, honey producers, flower farms, u-pick farms, wineries growing their own grapes, shops that stock local, the farmers markets, and the growers behind it all.

Salsa Competition
Calling all salsa crafters and tasters! Join us for our salsa competition this year, the rules are simple: your salsa has to be built mostly from local ingredients. More than half of what goes in the bowl should come from an Ashtabula County farm, farmers market, or producer. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, herbs, honey, it all counts as long as it was grown or made here!
Flower Bouquet Competition
Enter the Flower Bouquet Competition! Everything in your arrangement should be grown here, whether that’s at a flower farm, a market garden, or the beds along your own driveway. Cut what is looking good and bring it! Backyard growers are as welcome as commercial farms, and no style requirements!
Restaurant Passport
Grab your Taste of Bula Passport and explore the flavors of Historic Ashtabula Harbor. Each stamp you collect supports local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and shops while you sample what makes our harbor lakefront venues unique.
Food Trucks
In addition to the Historic Ashtabula Harbor’s stellar culinary offerings, we are excited to welcome Food Trucks to the Ashtabula Local Food Festival this year!
Crooked Tacos
Evie’s Luau
Night of the Living Bread

Volunteer
Join us for a day of fun in the Historic Ashtabula Harbor celebrating all things local food by volunteering with the Lift Bridge Community Association and event planning committee! We are a 100% volunteer-run operation and appreciate any time and support you are able to give to our event.
